The engineering colleges are not equipped with sufficient faculty. Doing M.Tech is a good option for engineers willing to take teaching as a profession.
It's easy finding core specific jobs by doing Post graduation.
One has the option of pursuing PhD programme after M.Tech through this entrance test.
The syllabus for PGECET is same as that of GATE syllabus. The standard of questions asked in the PGECET is little lower than the GATE. Those preparing for the GATE exam can get through this entrance test.
The objective question paper is of 120 marks containing 60% of theory questions and 40% problematic (formula based) questions.
One can score high if strong in basics and formulas.
Analysing the pattern of the questions asked in the exam on a particular subject and thereby concentrating on its concepts.
Along with reading the text books the objective questions should also be practiced.
Practicing the previous papers of the GATE and Engg Service Exam can fetch you good marks
